‘Kölsch’ – New beer variety for beer pioneers

Kölsch brings a unique top-fermented beer speciality from the Cologne region into play – locally brewed, but known far beyond the region’s borders. With this expansion, you can add Kölsch to your range and open up new strategic options by cleverly expanding your brewery to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Please note: The base game Bier Pioniere is required to play with this expansion.

With the Kölsch expansion, 2–4 players receive an additional mini-brewery complete with its own kettle, barrel storage and cellar. The module not only brings a new type of beer into play, but also exclusive action cards, Kölsch-specific orders and a new action tile ‘K’.

The new brewery operates independently of the main brewery, opening up tactical possibilities – but also requiring careful resource management.

The module can be combined with the base game and the BierBoom expansions (recommendation: max. 2 modules at a time).
